On the afternoon of Thursday 26^th June 2025, PFK Rural offered for sale four Lots of land at Penruddock which offered a rare opportunity to purchase land which has not been on the market for many years.

Auctioneer Andrew Maughan from Penrith and District Farmers Mart assisted PFK Rural with the sale and faced a full room of interested parties at The Gavel, Penrith Auction Mart.

The auction quickly got underway with Lot 1 which extended to 46.70 acres and after some extremely rapid bidding, this Lot was bid to a sum of £630,000(£13,490 per acre), closely followed by Lot 2 extending to 23.37 acres which was bid to a total of £150,000 (£6,418 per acre). Next came Lot 3 totalling 27.06 acres, selling for £190,000 (£7,021 per acre), and finally Lot 4 extending to 22.81 acres fetching £160,000 (£7,014 per acre).

Jo Edwards from PFK Rural representing the vendor was extremely pleased with the outcome of the sale and noted that it was really pleasing to see that the land had been sold to local farming enterprises.
