Auctioneer Andrew Maughan from Penrith and District Farmers Mart assisted PFK Rural with the sale and faced a full room of interested parties at The Gavel, Penrith Auction Mart. The auction quickly got underway with Lot 1 which extended to 46.70 acres and after some extremely rapid bidding, this Lot was bid to a sum of £630,000(£13,490 per acre), closely followed by Lot 2 extending to 23.37 acres which was bid to a total of £150,000 (£6,418 per acre). Next came Lot 3 totalling 27.06 acres, selling for £190,000 (£7,021 per acre), and finally Lot 4 extending to 22.81 acres fetching £160,000 (£7,014 per acre).
