A full auction room witnessed the sale of four Lots and after some rapid bidding the following sales were achieved: Lot 1 extending to 22.41 acres of grazing land reached £100,000 (£4,462 / acre). The second Lot extending to 2.76 acres of mowing land made £32,000 (£11,594 / acre). Lot 3 comprised 24.02 acres of grazing land which settled at £130,000 (£5,412 / acre) and Lot 4 comprising an 86.98 acre upland allotment fetching a final sale price of £232,000 (£2,667 / acre). The land had attracted considerable and varied interest with all the land selling to local farming interest.
